Our Dimmer Switch with Green Indicator is designed to provide a seamless dimming experience. It is compatible with 120V AC single-pole/3-way installations and features a fine-tune adjustment dial to eliminate LED/CFL flickering. The switch requires no screws to fasten the wall plate, ensuring a perfect blend with your wall. It can be used with a wide variety of household lighting, including Cloudy Bay Lighting family products.

The Cloudy Bay dimmer improves the compatibility of dimmable CFLs and LEDs compared to standard dimmers by eliminating flicker and ensuring proper operation at all levels. Most dimmable LEDs and CFLs, however, may not achieve as low a level as incandescent or halogen sources. In such cases, the fine-tune adjustment dial can be used to optimize the dimming performance.

For single-pole installations, the green dimmer ground wire should be connected to the ground wire in the wall-box, the black dimmer wire to the hot input wire, and either of the two red dimmer wires to the light fixture wire. The remaining red wire should be capped. For 3-way installations, the green dimmer ground wire connects to the ground wire, the black dimmer wire to the TAG wire, and the red dimmer wires to the remaining wires.

If you encounter issues such as flashing lights throughout the dimming range, check the compatibility of the lighting fixtures and ensure they are dimmable. Most dimmable LEDs and CFLs may not achieve as low a level as incandescent or halogen sources. Controlling a group of lighting fixtures/lamps with one dimmer may also cause flicker due to variation in dimming circuits and ranges. It is recommended to use a dimmer to control lights/lamps of the same type or model.

If the light flashes in the low dimming range, slightly turn the adjustment dial counter-clockwise to improve compatibility. To avoid compatibility issues, it is advisable to consult the dimmer list from the light bulb/lighting fixture's supplier. A broad dimmer list can help minimize issues such as flicker, buzz, or flashing.

The Cloudy Bay In-Wall Digital Dimmer Switch is available in single, 2-pack, and 10-pack options, with a maximum load capacity of 200W LED/CFL or 600W incandescent/halogen. It is single-pole or 3-way compatible and features screw terminals for wiring. The neutral wire is not required. The dimmer switch is UL listed and comes with a 1-year warranty.
