The TDHOS5 is a sensor switch in a class of its own, equipped with both PIR (Passive Infrared) motion and humidity sensors. Perfect for bathrooms, laundry rooms, spas, or any other room with high humidity levels, this switch will help make your space more comfortable and energy-efficient.

The humidity sensor works by detecting moisture in the air to automatically turn the ventilation fan on or off based on the moisture level. Occupancy mode provides automatic ON/OFF control of lights and ventilation fans based on motion and humidity detected in the room. In vacancy mode, the lights are manually turned on, and when no motion has been detected for the set time, the vacancy sensor will automatically turn off the lights.

The Humidity Sensor and Light Controls are designed to control bathroom exhaust fans up to ¼ HP. Other applications may include ventilation fans in basements, laundry rooms or home spas. Pre-set with a default time period of 10 minutes, high sensitivity with 65% relative humidity and OCC mode, the settings can be easily adjusted without tools or having to remove the wallplate or faceplate on the device.

The Humidity Sensor automatically turns ON a ventilation fan for a set period until the relative humidity (RH) is greater than or equal to the selected humidistat setting (45%, 65%, or 80%). Users can manually turn off the humidity sensor after programming by simply pressing the fan or light icon on the face of the device.
